Utility Framework

As the ecosystem grows, $QE is designed to support multiple utility domains, subject to phased activation and project-level discretion. These domains define capabilities, not guarantees, and serve as a toolkit for builders integrating $QE into their products.

Potential domains include but are not limited to:

  • Access & Participation Gating features, services, tiers, or opportunities within ecosystem applications, including early access, premium functionality, or eligibility for participation.

  • Incentives & Alignment Rewarding users, contributors, builders, or partners based on participation, performance, or long-term engagement, without enforcing a single incentive model.

  • Commitment & Lockups Supporting voluntary lockups or time-based commitments to align long-term participation with access rights, status, or economic privileges.

  • Coordination & Governance Enabling signaling, voting, or coordination mechanisms as decentralization increases, including non-binding signaling or project-specific governance processes.

  • Economic Integration Acting as a settlement, discount, pricing, or alignment asset within ecosystem products, marketplaces, or services.

  • Supply-Side Mechanics Enabling burns, buybacks, sinks, or other supply-reducing mechanisms tied to usage, activity, or project-specific economics.

  • Reputation & Status Representing participation history, contribution level, or standing within specific applications or communities, including tiering or role-based recognition.

  • Security & Assurance Supporting bonding, staking, or collateral-like mechanisms to align behavior, discourage abuse, or backstop certain actions, subject to project design.

  • Distribution & Launch Mechanics Powering fair access, claim-based distribution, or participation rights in new product launches, features, or ecosystem initiatives.

  • Cross-Project Interoperability Serving as a common economic reference point across multiple applications, enabling shared incentives, portability, or coordinated user experiences.

The presence of a utility domain does not imply immediate or universal implementation. Each project determines whether, how, and when $QE meaningfully supports its economic model.
